We are quickly approaching the official presentation of the new Google Pixel 6. Still without an officially confirmed date, it is believed that the new tops of the range of the American company will be unveiled on October 19th.
To anticipate this happening, we finally have information about the prices of the new Pixels. And according to what YouTuber M. Brandon Lee reveals, prices will be lower than many expected.
Google Pixel 6 will arrive in Europe from €550
The source reveals that the information shared comes from a European operator. Indeed, it is stated that Google Pixel 6 (Oriole) will start at 549 € for 8GB RAM and 128GB internal memory configuration. Anyone who wants the version with 256 GB of storage will have to pay 649 €.
As for the Google Pixel 6 Pro (Raven), this top of the range will be sold by 899 € for the base version. Anyone wishing to purchase the version with 256GB or 512GB of storage will face a surcharge of €100 for each level.
It’s curious to notice such a considerable difference between the two versions of the new tops of the range from Google. If these values are confirmed, there will be an interval of 350 € between devices, much larger than what we usually see on the market.
As the source points out, this will be justified by the hardware differences between Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. The latter will have a larger screen with better resolution, higher loading speeds or the addition of a telephoto lens.
Pixel 6 will be more accessible than initially planned
This information is sure to surprise many people. Taking into account the improvements already revealed for Google Pixel 6, it was expected that smartphones could be much more expensive.
Interestingly, if these values are confirmed, the Google Pixel 6 will hit the market with a lower starting price than the Pixel 5. The latter hit stores for €630, with a mid-range processor, camera with two lenses and a metallic construction.
The Pixel 6 Pro, although expensive, will be more affordable than the models with which it will compete directly. Examples such as the Galaxy S21 Ultra or the iPhone 13 Pro will be your main rivals and exceed the €1000 base price.
Finally, please note that Google Pixel 6 is expected to have limited availability in Europe. Strictly speaking, it is speculated that these devices officially arrive only in Germany, France and the United Kingdom.
