An interview with Strauss Zelnick and Phil Spencer was held yesterday at The Grill 2021, during which the CEO of Take-Two Interactive revealed that Game Pass has reached nearly 30 million subscribers.
Strauss Zelnick CEO of Take-Two may have inadvertently revealed Game Pass is around 30 million subscribers during an interview with Phil Spencer
If accurate that’s enormous growth. It was at 18m at the start of 2021 and that’s with Halo Infinite and Forza Horizon 5 yet to launch

Phil did not confirm this figure and referred only to the official statistics from January, which indicated that the service had 18 million users. Nevertheless, Zelnik has no reason to lie. Take-Two Interactive has partnered with Microsoft and many of the publisher’s games were often subscribed, so it should have access to the numbers.
If so, then in nine months the service almost doubled and added an impressive number of subscribers. But the main hits of Microsoft will be released only in the next quarter: Forza Horizon 5 and Halo Infinite. They will be immediately available by subscription.
