Within Tokyo Games Show publishing house Arc System Works and studio WayForward showed the first trailer for bitemap River City Girls 2… The sequel to the successful action movie was announced in June, and the game should be released on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC in 2022.
Series River Cityoriginally known as Kunio-kun, this year marks 35 years. Kunio-kun and his longtime rival Riki appeared on arcade machines in May 1986. Over time, games have been ported to the Famicom and other platforms.
In River City Girls 2, as in the previous River City Girls, the main characters are girls. Misako and Kyoko, friends of Kunio and Riki, are always ready to come to the rescue of the guys, even if for this they have to kill all the hooligans in the city.
For the sequel, the developers have prepared new locations and enemies, and the heroes will be able to learn additional techniques. This time, in addition to Misako and Kyoko, Kunio and Riki will also be among the playable heroes.
