There could be new Xbox games in November that are playable through Backward Compatibility.
Thanks to the backward compatibility, four Xbox generations are now playable on Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S. But for a long time it has been quiet about new backwards compatible games.
That could change in November.
Recently, data mining appears to have unearthed new Xbox Original and Xbox 360 games that could be added to backward compatibility. At least that’s what Nick Baker from Xbox Era says.
He didn’t want to reveal which games it was in order not to stir up false expectations. Because sometimes backwards compatible games are tested by the Xbox engineers, but not published.
In any case, there is new activity in this area and Baker would expect news on that in November.
An update here. It seems some games may have been datamined, but sometimes OG and 360 games are tested for BC but don’t make the cut so I won’t list any games as to not set expectations. Just a heads up that there’s been activity here so I’d probably expect something in November https://t.co/dBidwLcf8g
