A year and a half after the explosive debut of Battle Royale, with the arrival of Season 6, Verdansk is preparing for the last time as a scenario for the pitched battles of Call of Duty Warzone. While waiting to discover the new map of the Pacific, something is already changing.
As demonstrated by a tweet from Tom Henderson posted on Twitter, the Downton area was completely devastated and razed to the ground. The towering skyscrapers that usually stood in this area of Verdansk have been literally torn down, and nothing but ruins and rubble can be seen between the streets. A clear sign, after that of the demolished Stadium, that we are facing a radical change in the history of COD Warzone.
After all, it was the same Raven Software to remark once again, in a new video, that Verdansk will be permanently shelved with the arrival of COD Vanguard and the first Season dedicated to the shooter set during the First World War. The Activision study has also confirmed other news coming in Season 6, including the return of the first historic COD Warzone gulag appeared since Battle Royale Season 1.
The sixth and final season of COD Black Ops Cold War and Warzone will officially begin on October 8, when double experience points will be launched again. Meanwhile, the preload is already available on PS5 and PS4: this is how much the content weighs.
