The nomads fight the Abbasids and hardly ever wander.
For the first time, the developers of Age of Empires IV showed a full-fledged match for the Mongols, one of the game’s eight starting civilizations. The Mongols have a peculiarity: they know how to move their bases from place to place, roaming around the map.
Like real nomads, the game Mongols rely on archers – horse and foot. The sedentary Abbasids became the opponents of the Mongols, it was not easy to defeat them: the map is too small, the ability to roam the Mongols did not help.
As a result, the Abbasids and Mongols almost simultaneously staged raids on each other’s rear. The match ended without a clear winner being announced.
The release of Age of Empires 4 is scheduled for October 28th.
