Apple will have a new launch event on the 18th of October, where of course it must launch its new generation of MacBook Pro notebooks, with a design, also completely new! All based on M1X SoCs.
In addition, Apple is also expected to announce the new AirPods 3, but let’s focus on what really matters. New notebooks from the North American giant responsible for macOS.
MacBook Pro M1X starts at 16GB of RAM. Hallelujah!
Therefore, according to the latest information, Apple’s new range of notebooks will hit the market with a minimum of 16GB of RAM memory, and 512GB of internal storage. We are talking about the 14” and 16” ‘base’ models.
In addition to these improvements, everything indicates that all models will also have a webcam capable of reaching 1080p. So that this starts to be a valuable tool in this “new normal”, in which virtual meetings are almost a must.
However, in the processor field, it is very likely that the 14” models are based on the weaker M1X, while the 16” models contain the more powerful model. But calm down! The big difference should be in the iGPU, with both M1X models having 10 CPU cores. (In other words, the iGPU of the 14” models will offer a performance at the level of the GTX 1650, while the iGPU of the 16” models will reach the levels of the RTX 3070).
In addition to all this, we will also have a Mini-LED screen, which in turn, will be able to reach 120Hz. Margins will be super small, with a resolution boost on both versions of the notebook. However, all the similarities mean that the price difference between the two models will be significantly lower than we are used to.
