While Sledgehammer Games is leading the campaign and multiplayer for Call of Duty: Vanguard, the other Walking Dead mode remains under the control of the Treyarch development team. And today we were shown the first trailer for the new zombie mode, which will be associated with Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold and expand the storyline of Dark Aether.
Many details are not yet to be expected, they will be announced closer to the release. However, the video showed off three new Dark Aether skills. The first one seems to be creating a ring of ice shards around the player. The second is associated with an electric ball that deals instant damage. And the third is presented in the form of a ring of fire on earth.
Besides, will be presented “Altar of Pacts” on which the player can place the “Sacrificial Heart” trophy and then choose one of the many improvements. By the way, the list of available improvements will change randomly every time the user returns from the task.
Call of Duty: Vanguard will release along with the zombie mode on November 5 on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X / S, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
