“Resident Evil 4” is one of the absolute classics in video game history. Similar to Bethesda’s “Skyrim”, the title originally released for the Nintendo Gamecube enjoys tons of new versions on all possible platforms. So it is hardly surprising that with “Resident Evil 4 VR” the iconic scary game also comes to Occulus Quest 2. Somewhat more amazing are the adjustments made to the game. In addition to the control by VR, a hand was also given to the content. Some lines of dialogue that were too sexual that caused frowning in the game so far have disappeared in the new release.
Apparently, Capcom decided to modernize the game a bit in terms of content. Strictly speaking, it’s about some of the sayings of the protagonist Leon Kennedy and supporting character Luis Sera to female characters in the game. In fact, the sayings seem a bit out of place and misogynous in the original, so there are hardly any fans who miss them in the revised version.
