Universal has found a director for the remake of the classic horror movie The Wolfman. The film, starring Ryan Gosling, will be directed by Derek Sienfrance. He has previously directed two films with Gosling: “The Place Beyond the Pines” and “Valentine.”
It was originally expected that Upgrade director Lee Whannell would take on the tape, but he ultimately declined.
Details of the “Wolf Man” are still unknown. According to rumors, the action will take place in the modern world, and the film itself will be “a new look at the classic story.” Derek Sienfrance will not only direct the tape, but also write its script.
The horror has no release date yet.
