Subaru finally unveils its first electric car, the SUV Solterra

Subaru is a world-renowned automobile manufacturer. And at a time when many competitors already have several all-electric solutions, Subaru has now presented its first vehicle with these characteristics.

According to The Verge, this vehicle will reach the market in versions with front or all-wheel drive. Users will have at their disposal a 150kW engine (equivalent to 201 hp), with front wheel drive. With all-wheel drive, they will have two 80kW engines with a total of 214 hp (160kW)

Subaru Solterra promises range of up to 530 km

In either case, users will have a 71.4 kWh battery available. Based on the WLTC test cycles, Subaru promises a range of 530 km in the front-wheel drive version. The all-wheel drive version promises a range of 460 km.

According to the brand, the Subaru Solterra supports fast charging up to 150 kW. The brand did not reveal how long it will take to load. However, based on the Toyota BZ4X, The Verge claims that it can take around 30 minutes to charge 80%.
