At the end of March, Assassin’s Creed series lead writer Derby McDevitt announced his departure from Ubisoft. He wanted to do something new for himself, but today it became known about his return to the company.
According to McDevitt, he thought for a long time about what to do, but in the end he decided to return to his native path. Derby will be working on the next Assassin’s Creed subtitled Infinity. This is a very good sign, as McDevitt can be called a Ubisoft veteran who worked on Assassin’s Creed: Revelations.
The new part of Assassin’s Creed is being developed by Ubisoft Montreal and Ubisoft Quebec. The game has not yet been announced, and it does not even have an approximate release date.
