The genius game developer Hideo Kojima’s company, Kojima Productions, has established a Los Angeles-based music, television and film division.
Former Sony Interactive CEO Riley Russell will head the new division of Kojima Productions.
“The new division will work with creative and talented TV, music and film professionals, as well as the games industry,” Russell told GamesIndustry.Biz.
Unsurprisingly, Kojima Productions goes beyond games. Kojima is known for his cinematic approach to game creation. In addition, the genius often shares his thoughts on his favorite movies and albums on Twitter and Instagram.
It is likely that Kojima will be working on film adaptations of his games in the coming years.
