Jeremy Renner has only seen Avengers Endgame once and is not going to watch the movie again. In a conversation with BBC Radio 1, the Hawkeye star recalled the first time he saw a movie with his Avengers co-stars – he says it was an extremely emotional experience that he is not ready to repeat anytime soon.
I saw the movie at the premiere and it was a bit of a celebration for all of us. We all laughed and cried, simply choking on emotions. I will never be able to see this film again. It was a tough experience. We all constantly laughed, then wept again. We felt like we were the audience, and it was amazing. It was a wonderful, wonderful experience to share.
The emotional overload of watching Avengers: Endgame for Renner can also be related to the friendship the actors struck up on set. And the film was the last joint project for them.
