Back in 2017, Apple introduced the AirPower wireless charger, which was designed to charge multiple devices at once. At first, the gadget did not come out due to overheating problems, and then it was canceled altogether due to non-compliance with the company’s quality standards.
However, according to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, Cupertinians did not give up their attempts to release a charger for several devices. At the same time, the new device will not work on the principle of the existing MagSafe Duo, which is a set of iPhone and Apple Watch chargers assembled in one gadget.
The gourmet emphasized that the MagSafe Duo is a slow and overly expensive device that also charges only two devices at a time.
At the same time, Apple, according to Gourmet, is also working on wireless charging technology that will work over short and long distances – the devices will be able to charge each other.
Imagine iPad charges iPhone and then iPhone charges AirPods or Apple Watch.
We will wait for the official announcement from Apple.
