The now extremely successful pirate MMO Sea of Thieves will start its fifth season on December 2nd. As part of an extensive video, the developers have now presented what you can expect in it.
Accordingly, the new season of Sea of Thieves is less based on a fixed theme than the two previous seasons, but brings a whole range of new fatures, but also quality-of-life improvements. Among other things, it will be possible in the future for players to bury their own treasures. This will generate treasure maps that other players can use to go on a treasure hunt. These treasure maps can be pinned to new quest boards in the ports and outposts. Cool: both the treasure hunters and the treasure diggers get rewards when the respective treasure is found.
There are also some new tools such as themed fireworks, new flares with which you can warn your comrades or illuminate the environment, as well as new ways to interact with the environment. Also new are row boats with a cannon, which offer you new possibilities for surprise attacks or increase your firepower. There are also other small additions such as shanties, ammunition bags and new ship visitors in the form of rats.
Of course, it also includes 100 ranks with new rewards and new leaderboards, as well as tons of cosmetic items and other goodies. Season 5 starts on December 2nd on Xbox and PC, the trailer shows you again in moving images what is to be expected.
