Thunderful Publishing and developer Dejima have postponed the release of Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch from the previously scheduled December 14th until 2022. The release of the PC version is still expected on the 14th.
“We are certainly disappointed that we had to postpone the release of Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue on consoles, but it is important for us to offer players a quality game, and for this we had to postpone these versions until 2022, – explained the founder of Dejima Julien Ribassen in a press release. “We’re thrilled to release the game on PC on December 14th, and we hope players enjoy checking out our latest comments in a new video to see what comes next. We look forward to another video! “
In Firegirl: Hack ‘n Splash Rescue, you take on the role of a rescue girl who breathes life into a seedy local fire department. Answering procedurally generated calls throughout the city, you must rescue all civilians (and cats!) In trouble. In three minutes! Extra time can be earned by expelling dastardly pyro monsters, smashing through obstacles and using the hose as an impromptu jetpack to speed up the jump and reach otherwise inaccessible places.
