After the bad news of the postponement of Digimon Survive to 2022, little has been said of the new game focused on Digi-World and there is still no specific release date for the title originally announced in 2018 but repeatedly postponed in the following years. But something could move soon.
L’ESRB, the American rating board, has in fact classified the signed work Bandai Namco, a move that would therefore suggest that it could soon be revealed when it will be possible to play the next videogame adventure of the Digimon, wait on PC, PS4, Xbox One e Nintendo Switch. It is also mentioned Xbox Series X/S among the available platforms, although it is highly likely that it is the backward compatible version given that a native edition for Microsoft’s next-gen console (as well as for PS5) was never officially announced.
The classification body has awarded a “T“(Teen) at the title, citing fantasy violence, bad language and moderate presence of blood among the contents of the production, therefore aimed at an audience from teenagers upwards. The description of Digimon Survive provided by the ESRB finally speaks of a visual novel with elements of turn-based strategic RPG where you can use the Digimon in combat, in the meantime following the story of a group of Japanese boys lost in an alternate world populated by monsters.
