Among the new games arriving in December 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5, we also find Final Fantasy XIV Online: Endwalker, the latest expansion of the beloved MMO.
With the official debut scheduled for next Tuesday 7 December, the team of Square Enix has decided to anticipate the times a bit and already present the first notes of the patch that will introduce the content. In addition to reiterating already known information, (such as the addition of the Sage and Reaper jobs, the increase of the level cap to 90, the introduction of new main quests, the race of the Viera men and unpublished areas including Old Sharlayan), the latter also offered some details so far not announced by the development team.
In particular, it is learned that PC users will now benefit from feature characteristics of the DualShock 4 and DualSense during play sessions a Final Fantasy XIV Online. By connecting the PS4 and PS5 pads via USB, it will in fact be possible to experience the vibration functions and audio effects of the PlayStation 4 controller. On the DualSense front, however, there is support for haptic feedback, adaptive triggers and sound effects transmitted via the integrated microphone.
Waiting for the debut of the grand finale of Final Fantasy XIV Online: Endwalker, Square Enix also confirms the opening of theEarly Access expansion. The latter will start on Friday 3 December, starting at 10:00 in the Italian time zone.
