Fans of the STALKER series asked the developers about the release of remasters of the original games on the new engine. What did they answer?
We are talking about three projects – STALKER: “Shadow of Chernobyl”, STALKER: “Clear Sky” and STALKER: “Call of Pripyat”. Gamers would love to see them powered by the Unreal Engine 5, with modern gameplay and a redesigned interface.
Are there any chances? Quite. Developers from GSC Game World announced on their Discord channel that they are now all focused on STALKER 2: Heart of Chernobyl. But they did not categorically deny the possibility of creating remasters. It is likely that the team also has thoughts on re-releasing the original STALKER
But first it is worth waiting for the second part. The release, recall, is scheduled for April 28 next year for PC and Xbox Series S / X consoles.
