Honor ends 2021 with the presentation of two new smartphones now far from Huawei’s tutelage. Indeed, today the Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro were unveiled in hopes of regaining their former influence in the market.
This pair once again bets on quality construction, very interesting specifications and the return of Google services to their equipment. All this for values that start with 375 €.
Both models feature a construction dominated by glass and metal. The perfect recipe to give the user that premium feeling when they have the smartphone in their hand, however, for values far below what they would normally pay for a true top of the range.

The Honor 60 is the entry-level option for the new mid-range line with the Chinese brand’s signature. Although the overall design and build quality are the same compared to the Pro model, there are some details that set it apart.
Firstly, we have a smaller screen on this Honor 60, in addition to having only two curved edges. It is a high quality screen, capable of reproducing 10.7 billion colors and featuring HDR 10.
In the rear camera, we have a trio led by the same 108 MP sensor you’ll find on the Pro model. However, its wide-angle lens is only 8 MP with an angle of view of 112 degrees.
Honor 60 Pro main specs
6.79-inch OLED screen with 1200 x 2652 pixel resolution 120Hz refresh rate Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 778G+8GB or 12GB RAM256GB internal memoryTriple camera with 108MP main sensor + 50MP wide angle + 2MP macroCamera 50 MP Front Battery 4800 mAh Battery 66WMagic UI 5.0 Fast Charging Based on Android 12
The differences between this model and the previous one start on the screen. In addition to having a slightly larger diagonal, the Honor 60 Pro features four curved edges that, according to the brand, give a smoother feel to the user’s hand.
Next, we must emphasize the presence of a 50 MP wide-angle lens with an angle of view of 122 degrees. It features autofocus, which allows you to take macro photographs at a distance of just 2.5 centimeters from the subject.
On the front is a 50 MP sensor with a 100 degree viewing angle. Thanks to the higher resolution of this camera, it will be possible to crop images with less loss of quality.
The Honor 60 and Honor 60 Pro were developed with vloggers in mind, said the brand during the presentation. For this, the brand uses Artificial Intelligence to apply a system of gestures that will allow you to perform various options at a distance.
Note that both smartphones come equipped with a 4800 mAh battery with 66W fast charging. This means you can fill up 50% of its capacity in just 15 minutes.
