In December all the money is missing and so it’s good that we don’t have any dangerous app installed on the smartphone taking money from us or stealing our data. It’s just that otherwise we can have a more bitter Christmas. Now the alert for Android apps that you have to delete from your smartphone has been launched.
Alert: delete these apps from your Android smartphone now!
The notice comes from the computer security company ThreatFabric which has thus found four large families of threats that are causing damage around the world. However, more than 300,000 people are in danger. This is really a talking number!
Threats reach smartphones through various applications that serve only as a transport vehicle. That way they can get into stores without much problem. However, once installed on devices, they download threats. However, their main target is our bank details and this is where things can go the least!
At the moment it is unknown how many smartphones are infected but to understand this issue it is better to eliminate the dangerous apps that are on our smartphone. So to make it easier, let’s give both the name of the application and the extension:
Two Factor Authenticator (package name com.flowdivision)
Protection Guard (com.protectionguard.app)
QR CreatorScanner (com.ready.qrscanner.mix)
Master Scanner Live (com.multifuction.combine.qr)
QR Scanner 2021 (com.qr.code.generate)
QR Scanner (com.qr.barqr.scangen)
PDF Document Scanner – Scan to PDF (com.xaviermuches.docscannerpro2)
Document Scanner (com.docscanverifier.mobile)
PDF Document Scanner Free (com.doscanner.mobile)
Gym and Fitness Trainer (com.gym.trainer.jeux)
Master Scanner Live (leaf.leave.exchang)
Gym and Fitness Trainer (gesture.enlist.say)
PDF AI: Text Recognizer (com.uykxx.noazg)
QR CreatorScanner (com.cinnamon.equal)
QR CreatorScanner (com.tag.right)
However since some of the apps in question have identical titles the apk names help to distinguish them.
Of all these apps, the most dangerous is the Free QR Code Scanner which alone led to more than 50,000 installs. Fortunately Google was quick to eliminate it from the Play Store. However, it is still installed in many devices.
