In view of the launch of the Fortnite Chapter 3, Epic Games has contacted some of the leaker e dataminer best known of the community asking him not to reveal any details in advance in this regard before the launch of the update which will basically mark the beginning of a new era of battle royale.
Some of the best known leakers, such as HypeX, ChinaBR and iFireMonkey, claim to have received a message from Epic Games asking them not to blurt out or share on social leaks related to Chapter 3. Some of them have yet to decide whether to follow this directive, while others are arguing with the developers to find a possible solution that suits everyone.
A similar request suggests there is something big in the pot for Chapter 3 of Fortnite and Epic Games does not want to be revealed in advance so as not to spoil the surprise for the players. On the other hand, the leakers who have been contacted wonder if it is an efficient countermeasure, given that other lesser-known deep throats, who therefore have not been contacted by Epic, could still blurt everything out.
“I tried to think how this thing could work,” says iFireMonkey on Twitter “and what I think is that if anyone is able to leak the update I don’t see why I shouldn’t post leaks, since no matter what the people will still see these posts. ”
Fortnite Chapter 3 will debut next month, after the “The End” event that will take place on Saturday 4 December 2021, which will bring the curtain down on Chapter 2.
