Era fã do Mr. Piracy? In case you didn’t know, the free (but illegal) multimedia content streaming service closed last october, in a clear reaction to the growing importance given to the fight against piracy in European lands. A legitimate decision, since maintaining a service of that type, by the way, was increasing, not only in Portugal, but also in Brazil, it must have been a nightmare of all kinds, especially in the legal field.
But this raises a question… So, now what? What are the alternatives? Well then, let’s try to help.
Mr. Piracy is over… now what? Are there alternatives?
So, first of all, we have Pobre.TV, a streaming project illegal, also financed by advertising, which unlike Mr. Piracy, will also have a paid premium model.
This is the spiritual successor to the ‘old’ Mr. Piracy, because it was the platform that the team responsible for the project pointed out as a solution. However, despite being promised for the 7th of October, it only went online about a month ago. Unfortunately, it’s not a real Mr. Piracy, with a lot of room to evolve. (But it’s something!).
In this short list, you have a mix of legal and illegal solutions. That said, your use is at your own risk. In other words, if you want to be a pirate gentleman, just search on our friend Google to be left with many series and movies available for viewing. But, we have to point out, that you can also have access to a lot of good things, in a perfectly legal way, without paying a single cent, with these same platforms. Choose wisely.
