The city building simulation Cities: Skylines is still very popular and now a version has been announced that will freak out quite a few fans.
Cities: Skylines is getting nothing more and nothing less than a VR version. It should appear under the title Cities: VR in spring 2022 for Oculus Quest 2 aka Meta Quest 2.
Cities: Skylines is getting a VR implementation called Cities: VR and this is the announcement trailer for it.
The VR implementation is produced by Fast Travel Games and should be based as closely as possible on the original from Colossal Order. So you can count on features like city planning, traffic flow, emergency services, entertainment and many more.
In line with the announcement, there is a first teaser with scenes from an alpha version of the game, commented by Creative Director Erik Odeldahl. Much more information is not available yet, but that should be enough to arouse the interest of many fans of the game.
