VK Company Limited announced that the CEO of the company has decided to leave his position. He will continue to serve as head of the company until the board of directors appoints a new head. According to a number of publications, citing their own sources, Vladimir Kiriyenko, who now holds the post of vice president of Rostelecom, may become one.
VK also announced that it had received a notice of changes in the shareholding structure of MF Technologies JSC, of which Sogaz JSC becomes a shareholder, and USM and MegaFon are leaving the shareholders.
The current CEO of VK Boris Dobrodeyev decided to resign, but in order to smoothly hand over affairs to the new head of the company, he will continue to perform his duties until a successor is appointed. Mr. Dobrodeyev, in particular, stated: “It was an exciting journey that lasted 8 years: it is symbolic that it began as a deputy director at VKontakte and ends at the head of the huge VK company — the leader in the Russian segments of social networks, education and food tech, one of the largest representatives of the international gaming industry.
