343 Industries continues to listen to players’ opinions. John Unischek, Player Relationship Manager, has re-entered the Halo Infinite community. He said that the Halo Infinite team heard the wishes of the players regarding playlists, and they will try to implement them in the near future:
Let’s talk about Halo Infinite playlists! We read your feedback and are working on plans to add Fiesta, Tactical Slayer (SWAT) and Free-For-All playlists. […] They won’t be out until December 8th, but the team insists they be added before the end of the year.
Our goal for events is to try out new modes before adding to playlists. We’ll be monitoring the status of the playlist after the three additions above and adjusting our suggestions if necessary, but we’re happy to make these updates before the holidays.
A Social Slayer playlist (with multiple variations) is also in development (we see this request most often), but we won’t be able to prepare it until after the holidays.
We will remind, earlier studio 343 Industries promised to comprehensively approach the issue of solving problems with cheaters in Halo Infinite.
The full release of Halo Infinite (single and multiplayer) is set for December 8th. Multiplayer is now available in beta format.
