Developers from the SCS Software studio published screenshots from the upcoming Heart of Russia add-on for Euro Truck Simulator 2. Unfortunately, the DLC release date has not yet been announced, but the developers in a fresh message on Steam reminded that we are talking about a large portion of content.

Fresh images are dedicated to forests and the roads that pass through them. SCS Software reminds ordinary people that the forested areas of Russia account for more than one fifth of the world’s forests. This figure is higher than in any other country in the world.

The birch trees we are used to have received special attention from the developers. The developers remind that the history of the country and its folklore are filled with myths and legends. And according to one of the legends, the Slavs consider the birch to be a sign of good luck.

And the developers talked about pines – they made it clear that the wood of this tree is excellently used in construction and the creation of joinery. That is why timber transportation will become a key topic of the new missions of the Heart of Russia add-on.
