So far we know almost nothing about the post-release plan for DICE and Ripple Effect to support Battlefield 2042… Even though there is Tom Henderson, who said that the new content for the shooter is in the same production hell as the game itself.
But there is a Temporyal dataminer that shares bits of information. He was the first to report that in the first season Battlefield 2042 we are waiting for at least the map Ridge (later renamed to Exposure) for the basic mode of “Global War”, and now I have published the first image of the location.

Exposure is located in Canada (British Columbia), and the essence of the conflict here lies in a secret research center, which was exposed after a landslide. The Russians suspect that some kind of weapon is stored here.
Judging by the general plan of the map, vast fields with a minimum of shelter await us again, but with elevation differences and a kind of forest. Most likely, if DICE is going to rely on player feedback on the maps, then we will get more compact and detailed locations in the later seasons of the shooter.
