Intel is undeniably returning to its “old self”, with a lot of will, and a lot of investment, to stop being behind its direct rivals, not only in the world of processors, but also in the graphics cards part. In case you didn’t know, Intel is about to launch a new range of graphics cards, with 4 models available, in order to reach all market segments.
Obviously they’re not going to be cards capable of tapping into what NVIDIA and AMD have to offer at the higher end of the range. But they are obviously a critical part of Intel’s grand plan! Let’s do it by steps!
Intel has plans to put AMD and NVIDIA in his pocket!
So, do you know what Intel’s big plan is? Investing strong and ugly! Like? In raises for your staff! Sounds simple doesn’t it? To keep a workforce focused and motivated… Just pay more! Portuguese bosses, what do you think about this strategy!?
Very briefly, Intel will set aside about $2.4 billion in early 2022 in order to boost wages across the scale. More specifically, one billion of this bag will go to immediate raises, while the rest will be handed over to the staff in the form of company shares.
These raises and bonuses will obviously be based on performance, person-to-company value, etc… The idea will also be to keep talent indoors, as rivals are obviously attentive to critical employees, offering more money for them to switch teams .
In short, to return to roost, and dominate AMD and NVIDIA, Intel is willing to invest hard and ugly, in order to make its staff feel rewarded and part of the team.
Besides, what do you think about all this? Do you think this is a good idea from Intel? Please share your opinion with us in the comments below.
