Brutal Orchestra is a turn based roguelike / strategy game. You are dead. Someone killed you. You are now in Purgatory and you will never escape. Make a deal with the “demon” Bosch and venture into this cruel and brutal world, finding all sorts of crazy and degenerate friends and enemies in your quest for petty revenge.
As you form a group of 20 other strange scum of the underworld, you travel through a purgatory landscape inspired by the whimsical paintings of Hieronymus Bosch and Pieter Brueghel.
This is a tactical and strategic combat system in which you move characters between five positions to attack or avoid attacks, trying to achieve optimal confrontation with your own five units of your enemies. The entire system feeds on pigment, sticky blood, and / or the guts of your enemies. Each character skill costs a pigment of a certain color combination, and you get more pigment by hitting enemies whose health bar has that color.
You can screw up by killing enemies in bad order, as a result of which some of your characters will not be able to get more resources for action. You can also burn mana as too much pigment does damage when you act.
