Sales of the GeForce RTX 3050 video card are planned for the end of January. In preparation for its release, Nvidia is actively supplying its AIB partners with GA106-150 graphics cores to ensure the best possible availability of new items on release day. According to Chinese sources, initial shipments of the GeForce RTX 3050 will be larger than the GeForce RTX 3060 and RTX 3060 Ti combined.
The GeForce RTX 3050 is the most affordable graphics card with Nvidia Ampere architecture. It is designed for 1080p gaming and is based on the stripped-down GA106 GPU, which was previously tested on the GeForce RTX 3060. The GeForce RTX 3050 arsenal includes 2560 CUDA cores, 80 tensor cores, 20 RT cores responsible for accelerating ray tracing, and 128 bit memory interface. The video buffer is represented by eight gigabytes of GDDR6.
Official sales of the GeForce RTX 3050 will start on January 27. The recommended price for the video card for the US market is from $ 249.
