The moving work of art GetsuFumaDen Undying Moon would now be about to arrive on PlayStation and Xbox consoles: to launch the anticipation is the Brazilian rating board with the classification, in fact, of the PS4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox versions Series X / S of Konami’s original roguelike.
Available from May 13, 2021 in Early Access on Steam, the ambitious old-fashioned 2D roguevania developed by GuruGuru under the aegis of Konami Digital Entertainment will see the light in full version on PC and Nintendo Switch in the course of 2022.
Judging from what the Brazilian rating suggests, between now and the next few months we should see the landing of GetsuFumaDen Undying Moon also on the digital stores of the Sony and Microsoft platforms, to the delight of fans of the genre. The South American body does not provide further information on the timing of the launch, or even less on the hypothesis that is circulating on social networks (albeit without being supported by any evidence) of the possible arrival day one on PlayStation Plus or Xbox Game Pass.
To those approaching this project only now, we remind you that GetsuFumaDen immerses fans in a dark fantasy dimension recreated in the artistic style of the Ukiyo-e works, inside with scenarios strongly inspired by the Japanese folklore about Yokai demons and the Underworld. Our task is to play Getsu Fuma, a warrior called to defeat the forces of evil before the demonic hordes invade the realm of the living.
