As the release date of Rainbow Six Extraction come new details on the modes of Ubisoft’s multiplayer PvE shooter. Today a new gameplay trailer talks to us about Protocollo Maelstrom, a weekly ranked mode that looks particularly addicting.
Maelstrom Protocol is a Rainbow Six Extraction mode that poses an endgame challenge that changes every week and characterized by triple the objectives and a much higher challenge rate, so much so that the use of operators at the maximum level is recommended. On the other hand, there are very high rewards for XP and REACT credits, as well as exclusive seasonal cosmetics.
As mentioned previously in Protocol Maelstrom, the objectives to be completed will be nine, against the three of the standard modes and each of them will have a particular modifier, which adds a further state of complexity to the whole. The difficulty increases with every three objectives completed, while on the contrary the medkits and other resources, as well as the time, will be less and less. Another peculiarity of Protocol Maelstrom is that it will be possible to select your operator only among the six who will make the game available every week, so it will be necessary to adapt to each situation.
Rainbow Six Extraction will be available for PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One and PC starting in January 20, 2022. At launch, the game will enter the Xbox and PC Game Pass catalog.
