We already know almost everything about the Galaxy S22 smartphone range, especially in the field of design and technical specifications. However, there is something to “stink” in the midst of everything that is happening in the world of Samsung smartphones.
After all, the South Korean giant should have announced its new SoC Exynos 2200, which of course, is a chip resulting from a much-hyped partnership with AMD a few days ago. However, the event was cancelled, and so far, we don’t know anything about the processor!
Of course, in response to this ‘delay’, we had several ‘leaks’ and ‘rumors’ coming to the Internet, pointing to an Exynos 2200 much less than expected. But will it be true? Samsung’s big bet, and the result of the partnership with AMD, is it a ‘fail’ after all?
Samsung Galaxy S22: Exynos 2200 is in trouble or not?
Therefore, it was Samsung itself to ‘tease’ its new SoC, and the launch date, however, at the last minute, everything was cancelled. Apparently, with no great reasons for such a decision.
However, a Samsung spokesperson has already stated that the launch will take place closer to the announcement date of the new flagship smartphones, while guaranteeing that there are no problems in the field of performance or production of the Exynos 2200.
In case you didn’t know, some of the most famous ‘leakers’ in the Samsung world have already gone public saying that Samsung was not able to achieve the goals it set itself, especially in the field of clock frequencies. After all, it was expected that the Exynos 2200 would arrive with a base frequency close to 2.0 GHz, but apparently, it will stay at 1.29 GHz. Unfortunately, there are still overheating problems in the SoC, which in turn, can mess it up a bit. behind Qualcomm’s effort, with the Snapdragon 8 Gen1. And who knows, even from MediaTek, who impressed hard and bad with their new high-end SoC.
