Haitong International Securities analyst Jeff Pu has revealed new details about the changes to all four models of the iPhone 14 series, which Apple will introduce in 9 months.
All iPhone 14 models will feature ProMotion displays with adaptive refresh rates from 10Hz to 120Hz, Pu said. In the current generation of smartphones, Apple has used ProMotion only in the top-end iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max.
In addition, the analyst made adjustments to previous insiders – the iPhone 14 Pro / 14 Pro Max models will not receive 8 GB of RAM. Instead, all devices in the series will be equipped with 6 GB of RAM. This decision is due to the fact that Apple does not want to raise prices for smartphones.
Also, the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max will receive 48 megapixel main cameras, and the minimum amount of internal memory in these devices will be 256 GB of memory instead of 128 GB in the iPhone 13 Pro.
Apple is expected to introduce the iPhone 14 series in September 2022.
