More specifically, we see in the beta version of Android 12L several features optimized for the foldable format. However, according to the new report advanced by the publication 9to5Google, Google’s foldable can follow the format of the OPPO Find N, or the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold, therefore, with a larger interior screen and secondary external screen.
According to the same source, the device in question will be dubbed the “Pixel Notepad”, with a lower-than-expected price. That is, the equipment may arrive, possibly in 2022, with a price below the Galaxy Z Fold, which currently costs around 1 800 € on Amazon.ES.
Although precise figures have not been advanced for the retail price of this mobile device, there is, yes, a suggestion that its value will be competitive. In addition, it will be one of the first to bring and demonstrate the capabilities of Android 12L, the version already adapted for the foldable format.
Google Pixel Notepad could arrive by the end of 2022
Suggested technical features for the Google Pixel Notepad include Google’s own Tensor (GS101) processor with up to 12 GB of RAM.
You can also count on up to 512 GB of internal storage and a range of cameras that are simpler than the one present in the current Google Pixel 6 range.
Finally, according to another source, the price could be as low as $1,799, with possible direct conversion to euros. In any case, until the presentation or officialization of the product, a lot can change.
This is Google’s first foldable smartphone, a turning point in its history and launch that can help cement this type of cell phone in our market.
