Business analyst Roberto Serrano noticed to the fact that Sony back in October last year, updated the logo and trademark Psygnosis.
In the nineties, the studio was noted for a number of quality games, the most famous of which was Lemmings, and after the acquisition by Sony in 1993, she was actively involved in the development of projects for the first PlayStation.
Psygnosis was later renamed to Studio Liverpool – under this name, she marked several games in the series F1 and Wipeoutand disbanded in 2012.
What the recent actions are connected with is not clear. Perhaps this is how the company wants to stop the possible use of the logo or name by third parties. It is hard to believe in the revival of the studio, which the current generation of gamers has hardly heard of.
