The show has been in development for many years, it managed to change several writers and performers of the main roles. The premiere of the first season took place on September 13 last year, however, the channel FX decided to close Ygrek even before the last episode aired.
At that time, the authors hoped to find a new “home” for the project, but in the end they failed to do this. In her address, Clarke noted that such a “move” for the series was not an easy move before, and in recent years it has become even more difficult to achieve success in such a matter.
