EA hasn’t finished work on the Star Wars universe yet. The publisher is working on three new Star Wars games, all curated by the developer in one form or another. Respawn Entertainment. These games include a sequel Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, first person shooter and strategy game.
Respawn Entertainment, best known for its work on Apex Legends, Titanfall and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, is leading the development and production of these new titles. Vince Zampella, CEO and Founder of Respawn, will oversee this new phase of EA’s collaboration with Lucasfilm, building on Respawn’s award-winning game development history and experience in creating compelling Star Wars stories.
For creating a new game in the series Star Wars: Jedi, which was confirmed as the start of a franchise shortly after its release in 2019, will again be answered by Stig Asmussen, who led the development of the first game and also had a hand in the original God of War trilogy.
Development of the all-new Star Wars first-person shooter is being led by Peter Hirschmann, Game Director at Respawn, who has a long and successful history with the Star Wars franchise. The third game is a Star Wars strategy game developed in collaboration with the newly formed studio Bit Reactor, led by gaming industry veteran Greg Fourstch. Respawn will produce the new Star Wars strategy game, with Bit Reactor leading the development of the game.
