Developer Sledgehammer Games has released a list of all the changes and innovations that will appear in the shooter Call of Duty: Vanguard next week, along with the start of the second season. In the case of Warzone, the Raven Software team will publish the description separately, closer to February 14th.
Vanguard Multiplayer:
- Two new medium sized maps – Casablanca and Gondola
- Two new modes – Ranked (beta) and Arms Race (coming during the season)
- New killstreak for 12 kill streak
- Deadly New Weapon – Sticky Grenade
- Two new perks – Arsenal and Mechanic
Zombie Vanguard Mode:
- New Map – Cursed Land
- Three new arenas – Blighted Lands, Eastern Desert and Hall of Truth
- Two New Wonder Weapons – Destruction Shield and Beam Cannon
- New Ally – Verkanna the Last
- New enemy – Zaballa the Deceiver
- New Artifact – Wand of the Wild
- New target – Sacrifice
- New treaty – Protection of artifacts
- New story quest
- Support for new weapons – KG M40 and Whitley
- Three new camouflages
- 20 new seasonal tasks
Also, along with these innovations, the update will bring to Call of Duty: Vanguard improvements in network stability and fixes many bugs in modes, sets, weapons, perks and progression tracking. For a complete list of all changes, see Sledgehammer Games official announcement.
