Electronic Arts CEO Andrew Wilson claimed in an internal meeting that FIFA is holding back the football series.
In comments anonymously provided to VGC, Wilson claimed that FIFA prevented EA from expanding its games into modes beyond the traditional 11v11 or into a “broader digital ecosystem,” hinting that the only value , which EA pulled out of its license to have “four letters on the front of the box” in a non-World Cup year.
EA declined to comment when pre-notified of this article by VGC.
