Chinese gadget manufacturer ZTE has unveiled a new flagship smartphone Nubia Z40 Pro with a 64MP Sony IMX787 camera with a 35mm equivalent focal length and magnetic wireless charging.
The smartphone received a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with Full HD + resolution, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut coverage, a peak brightness of 1000 nits and a cutout for a 16 MP selfie camera.
There are three cameras on the back panel. Nubia is incredibly proud of the new 64MP 1/1.3-inch sensor with f/1.6 7P lens with OIS and 35mm EGF. The unit also houses a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom.
Nubia Z40 Pro is equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, 8/12/16 GB of RAM and 128/256/512/1024 GB of internal memory. In addition, the smartphone received a 5000 mAh battery with support for 80 W wired charging, a USB-C port, an NFC module, and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
The limited edition Nubia Z40 Pro Gravity Edition packs a 4,600mAh battery with support for 66W fast wired charging and undisclosed magnetic wireless charging.
Prices for the ZTE Nubia Z40 Pro start at $540 for the 8/128GB version. The base model Gravity Edition 12/256 GB will cost $670. So far, the novelty is only available in China.
