During the virtual presentation at MWC 2022, Huawei introduced several products for the international market. One of them was the 28.2-inch MateStation X monoblock, which the manufacturer announced in China last fall. The system is based on the AMD Ryzen 5000 series processor.
The 28.2-inch MateStation X monoblock uses a 3840 × 2560 pixel IPS touch matrix with a 3:2 aspect ratio, 98% DCI-P3 color space coverage and 100% sRGB coverage. The display has been certified by TUV Rheinland for near-zero harmful blue light emissions.
The monoblock is assembled in a metal case and is equipped with a 2.1-channel audio system with support for Diavlet technology and Huawei’s own Histen algorithm. It also has 4 microphones that recognize voice commands up to 5 meters away.
Huawei MateStation X has a six-core AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processor operating in the frequency range from 3.3 to 4.2 GHz. He is accompanied by 16 GB of DDR4-3200 RAM, as well as a 1 TB NVMe drive. The set of physical connectors is represented by two USB-C 3.2 Gen 1, two USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 and a 3.5 mm audio jack. Of the wireless interfaces, it is worth noting support for Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1.
Huawei ships the MateStation X with a proprietary wireless fingerprint keyboard and Huawei AF30 Bluetooth mouse. The computer is running Windows 11. For the European market, the monoblock is priced at €2199.
