As reported by Nexta, Rockstar Games has blocked all of its games available on Steam in Russiafollowing the directives of Take-Two which has decided to suspend activities in Russia, also involving its subsidiaries such as Rockstar and 2K Games in this choice.
At the moment there are no direct confirmations but various Eastern European media confirm that Rockstar Games games are not available on Steam in Russia, the list includes not only GTA V and GTA Online but also Grand Theft Auto 4, LA Noire The VR Case Files, Red Dead Redemption 2 , LA Noire, Bully Scholarship Edition, Max Payne, Grand Theft Auto 4 Episodes From Liberty City and many more.
Furthermore, it is not clear whether the announcement concerns only the titles available on Steam or also on other marketplaces such as Epic Games Store, PlayStation Store, Nintendo eShop and Xbox Store. In the past few hours, Ubisoft has also suspended the sale of its games in Russia as well as Activision Blizzard, Microsoft and other companies. Nintendo has suspended payments in rubles on the eShop and the same did Epic on the Epic Games Store, CD Projekt RED blocked access to GOG from Russia while Electronic Arts removed the national team from FIFA 22.
