Publisher and developer based in Brisbane (Australia) EarthWork Games announced that for his RTS game Fortsbased on physics, will be released DLC “high seas» on Steam March 25 2022. The High Seas DLC will add buoyancy to the battlefield with a variety of floating fortresses, weapons and missions.
Forts – High Seas introduces an updated physics engine with buoyancy and water effects that allow ships to float – and sink – in exciting battles. Build warships, battleships, massive dreadnoughts and more, equipping each arsenal with the latest weapon technology, from shipborne aircraft to deck guns and orbital lasers.
Progress through an 18-mission story campaign as Max Capacitor, a Joint Naval Forces captain whose search for his missing scientist father may be linked to the existence of a terrifying megaweapon. Dive into the details as the graphic novel cutscenes focus on Max’s sea adventures and add even more personality to the Forts franchise’s bizarre war.
In addition to the story campaign, Forts – High Seas features Skirmish and multiplayer modes with 16 maps, including eight stages where players must build their fleet and 8 with pre-built ships ready to go into battle immediately. The DLC also expands on the Forts in-game editor, allowing fans to create and share water maps for endless multiplayer fun.
