Developers from the Rebellion studio have officially announced the release date of their sniper action game Sniper Elite 5 – the game should be released on May 29 this year. Along the way, the authors presented to the attention of the public a small trailer, in which the main concentration is on the storyline of the action movie, however, some elements of the gameplay are also shown, including one of the main features – the “X-ray” mode.
The events of Sniper Elite 5 will unfold in France in 1944, and the main character is still the sniper Karl Fairbairn, who is faced with the need to destroy the Nazi plan, called the “Kraken” – as conceived by the enemy, this very plan should reverse the course that is unsuccessfully developing for him the whole war.
Karl joins the French Resistance in order to prevent the intentions of the Nazis from being realized, for which the protagonist will actively use his entire wide range of skills and knowledge.
The pre-order of the game is already open, for which customers are offered a pistol with a silencer, as well as an additional mission to penetrate Hitler’s mountain residence.
Sniper Elite 5 was announced in December last year. The game will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S.
PC, PlayStation and Xbox. The shooter will also become part of the Game Pass subscription on the day of release.
