Studio MystiveDev has unveiled a new trailer for the first-person horror game Mirror Forge. There are alternate dimensions, creepy creatures, puzzles, survival, exploration, and even evidence gathering.
The game is inspired by Silent Hill and Stranger Things. Everything that happens around is a version of the internal upheavals and psychological struggle of the hero. Thomas Jackson two years ago, drunk, crashed into a tree – as a result of the accident, his pregnant girlfriend Jill fell into a coma and lost her child. The couple breaks up, and Thomas tries to commit suicide. After two years, he decides to rekindle the relationship, only to discover that Jill has disappeared along with her film crew in Devil’s Womb Canyon.
The game takes place in several different locations, ranging from gloomy small apartments to big cities. The hero can collect items, interact with the environment, solve puzzles, both normal and physical. The main enemies are dark entities. One of the most important elements is sound – some invisible creatures can be detected if you just listen carefully.
Mirror Forge will release on September 30, 2022 on PC.
