Publisher Elden Pixels and developer Decemberborn Interactive announced that they will release Metroidvania on April 12 Cathedral for PlayStation 4.
Red Art Games will also publish a limited print edition on their online store for €24.99. Pre-orders will open on April 7th. A total of 1500 copies will be released.
Cathedral was first released for PC on Steam and GOG on October 31, 2019, and then on February 18, 2021 for Switch.
The Cathedral is a large interconnected 2D world with over 600 rooms to explore. Use the handy world map to find new locations, items, and ways to go back. The world of Cathedral is completely handcrafted and contains many unique areas, secrets and puzzles. Each area of the world is designed to be different and unique with its own puzzles and challenges.
Uncover the secrets of your past by finding five elemental orbs. The orbs, planted in ancient times by the demigod known only as Ardur, are guarded by five fearsome guardians. Go through their dungeons, face them in combat and see if you can defeat them.
