A few weeks ago, for no apparent reason, Microsoft decided to remove the direct sharing feature of screenshots and clips on Twitter from the Xbox operating system in the Insider circuit.
The members of the testing program have therefore saw a feature disappear that they had available on their Xboxes since time immemorial, finding themselves forced to carry out a longer procedure in order to achieve the same purpose. The new system in fact provided for an additional step, namely the sharing of clips on smartphones and from the latter on the social network.
Fortunately, this unwelcome news it will never arrive in the public firmware. Complaints from insiders and negative feedback convinced Microsoft to retrace its steps and restore the function in the testing circuit as well. There new Xbox firmware build 2204 published in the Insider ha circuit reintroduced direct sharing on Twitter, to the delight of all those players who expect much more from Microsoft: the capture and sharing tool of Xbox One and Series X | S needs much more interventions, since it is still slow and cumbersome. The improvements promised by Microsoft to the Game DVR long ago haven’t arrived yet …
